MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia is not spending gold and currency reserves to support the ruble rate, Central Bank chief Elvira Nabiullina said at the press conference after the regulator’s Board meeting.
"No, we are not spending reserves to support the rate. By the way, it is seen from the statistical data of gold and currency reserves," she noted.
Changes in the volume of gold and currency reserves are associated with fiscal rule transactions and revaluation, Nabiullina added.
