TOKYO, March 21. /TASS/. Japan reduced exports of passenger cars to Russia by 4.5% in February year-on-year to 14,317 units, according to figures released by the country’s finance ministry.
Supplies of Japanese spare parts and components dropped by 37.4% in the reporting period, while trucks and buses were not exported to Russia.
Japan also cut grain imports from Russia by 82.7% in February year-on-year, while purchases of fish and fish products from Russia added 9% in the period.
That said, Japan reduced exports of medical products to Russia by 94.2%, according to data provided by the finance ministry.
