UAE to become partner at Innoprom-2024 exhibition
The event’s program will include a strategic Russia-UAE business forum, which will become a venue for discussing mutual projects that are already being implemented, as well as the dialogue on prospects for expanding cooperation in the industry and technology areas
MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be a partner country at the Innoprom-2024 international industrial trade fair due to be held on July 8-11, 2024 in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, the event’s organizers said in a statement.
"The participation of the UAE as a partner country of the INNOPROM-2024 exhibition not only confirms the special status of Russian-UAE relations, but will also give an additional impetus to the development of cooperation in innovative sectors," Russian Trade and Industry Minister Denis Manturov noted.
The UAE’s exhibition will let visitors get acquainted with advanced developments and priority directions of industrial and economic cooperation. Besides, the event’s program will include a strategic Russia-UAE business forum, which will become a venue for discussing mutual projects that are already being implemented, as well as the dialogue on prospects for expanding cooperation in the industry and technology areas.
The Innoprom international industry exhibition is one of the most large-scale events of its kind for Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union. The Innoprom trade fair has been held annually in Yekaterinburg since 2010 (apart from 2020 due to the pandemic). The Sverdlovsk Region’s government and the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry organize the exhibitions, while the Russian Business Event company acts as their operator.
During the previous events, the exhibition’s partners were Russia’s strategic partners in key industries: China, India, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, Italy, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
