MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russia's GDP growth in January 2024 is estimated to reach 4.6% in annual terms, according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We will continue to move forward, despite external pressure. This can be clearly seen from the dynamics of GDP growth. I would like to remind you that at the end of last year it increased by 3.6%, and this, of course, is only the first estimate. The trend continues in 2024 - growth in January, in particular, is estimated at 4.6% by the Ministry of Economic Development," he said.

Mishustin drew attention several sectors of the economy saw double-digit growth rates at the beginning of the year. "This includes manufacturing of computers, electronic equipment, furniture, leather goods, textiles and many other materials," he said.
