The production has been authorized by Cuban state corporation Cuba Ron S.A.
MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russia’s Abrau-Durso winery has launched domestic production of the Danza del Fuego brand of original Cuban rum, the vintner said in a statement.
The production has been authorized by Cuban state corporation Cuba Ron S.A.
The bulk of Danza del Fuego's production is centered in Cuba. Abrau-Durso supplies ready-made rum distillates to Russia. At the company's enterprises, the distillate is diluted with purified water to the required 40%, filtered and bottled. Each batch of Danza del Fuego is produced under the personal supervision of specialists from Cuba, who accompany and oversee all stages of the bottling process, the company said.
"The tradition of rum production is a national treasure of Cuba. It is under the strict control of the government of the republic, which is confirmed by a special green quality mark that is applied to each bottle of the drink. It is this mark that guarantees the origin of the rum and its authenticity. Following the required certification, Abrau-Durso has been authorized to apply this mark to its output of Danza del Fuego rum," the statement says.
Danza del Fuego rum in Moscow will cost 1,499 rubles ($16.40) per 0.7 liter bottle. In the near future, the beverage will be on sale at retail chains.
