Currency reserves lost 0.88% to $430.115 bln in February 2024
MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. Russia’s international reserves dropped by $2.812 bln or by 0.48% and amounted to $582.636 bln as of March 1, 2024, the Central Bank said.
International reserves of Russia stood at $574.247 bln as of March 1 of the last year.
Currency reserves lost 0.88% to $430.115 bln in February 2024. Monetary gold gained 0.66% in reserves over the month and amounted to $152.521 bln.
Russian international reserves are highly liquid foreign assets available with the Bank of Russia and the Russian Government. They comprise foreign currency, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), a reserve position in the International Monetary Fund and monetary gold.
