BEIJING, March 7. /TASS/. China’s foreign trade grew by 5.5% in January-February to $930.86 bln, the General Administration of Customs of China reported.

The country’s exports amounted to $528.01 bln, up by 7.1%, while imports edged up by 3.5% to $402.85 bln, according to figures released on the service’s website. China’s surplus account reached around $125.16 bln in the reporting period, up by about 20.5% year-on-year.

China is the world’s leading producer supplying a wide range of products to the global market. Beijing actively maintains and constantly strengthens trade contacts with most countries. Moscow is China’s key partner in terms of supplies of energy resources. Moreover, Russia boosts export of high-quality food and other products to the People’s Republic of China.
