Putin proposes forming six-year financial plan alongside with three-year budget
The president noted that "life will make adjustments, but despite the difficult period, despite the current trials and difficulties, Russia is mapping out a long-term plan"
MOSCOW, February 29. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin put forward a proposal to form not only a three-year budget for the country, but also a six-year financial plan.
"I consider it necessary now not only to prepare a draft budget for the next three-year period, but also to set all the main investment expenses further, for the period until 2030," he said in his State of the Nation Address to the Federal Assembly.
"In fact, we need to form a six-year long-term financial plan of the country's development, which we, of course, will supplement with new initiatives."
The President noted that "life will make adjustments, but despite the difficult period, despite the current trials and difficulties, Russia is mapping out a long-term plan."
"The program that I outlined today in my address is objective and fundamental. This is the program of a strong, sovereign country that looks confidently into the future," Putin stressed.
