TEHRAN, February 28. /TASS/. If necessary, the Russian government may decide to lift the ban on gasoline exports before its six-month validity period ends, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
"During this time, if necessary, another decision can be made. If the market is full, [the ban] can be lifted. Therefore, a regulatory decision is made for six months, during which time the situation will be constantly monitored and measures will be taken," Novak said.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the export ban had already been applied earlier, in the fall of 2023, then this measure was also introduced for 6 months, but was canceled ahead of schedule after the market situation normalized.
