MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The price of Bitcoin surpassed $60,000 during the trading session on Wednesday for the first time since November 17, 2021.
As of 16:53 Moscow time, Bitcoin slowed its growth and reached $60,039.
The cryptocurrency gained more than $3,000 in price in less than 24 hours, an increase of more than 40% over a month.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency invented in 2008 by an unknown person or a group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without intermediaries.
