The price of Bitcoin has increased by more than $8,000 since February 26
MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The price of Bitcoin rose by 4.99% during the trading session on Wednesday to $59,023, exceeding $59,000 for the first time since November 20, 2021, according to Coindesk data as of 11:47 a.m. Moscow time (8:47 a.m. GMT).
As of 12:01 p.m. Moscow time (9:01 a.m. GMT), the price of Bitcoin extended gains to 5.45% reaching $59,461.
The price of Bitcoin has increased by more than $8,000 since February 26.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency invented in 2008 by an unknown person or a group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without intermediaries.
