Moscow Exchange shares up by more than 4.5% as platform’s net profit report published

The net profit of the Moscow Exchange according to IFRS for 2023 increased by 67.5% to $655 mln against $391 mln a year earlier

MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Moscow Exchange shares grew by more than 4.5% during trading amid the publication of IFRS report for 2023, trading data shows.

As of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, Moscow Exchange shares grew by 4.7%, to 200 rubles ($2.16) per share. By 10:30 a.m. Moscow time, shares added 2.78% and reached 196.2 rubles ($2.11) per share.

The net profit of the Moscow Exchange according to IFRS for 2023 increased by 67.5% to 60.8 billion rubles ($655 mln) against 36.3 billion rubles ($391 mln) a year earlier.

Fee income increased to 52.2 billion rubles ($562 mln) due to high client activity, as well as the launch of new products and services, the exchange reported. The share of commission income in the structure of the exchange's operating income was 50%. Income from financial services soared by 141.7%.
