MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry Energy expects domestic oil production will total 523 mln metric tons, minister Nikolay Shulginov said at a press conference at the Russia Expo international forum.

"[Oil production] will provisionally total 523 [mln metric tons]; gas [production] - 667 [bln cubic meters]. Refining will be slightly lower than in the last year," Shulginov said.

Oil and gas condensate production in Russia in 2023 contracted annually by 0.8% to 530.6 mln metric tons, according to the presentation of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak for his report in the Federation Council.
