MOSCOW, February 18. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that while German officials are busy with political infighting, their policies are wrecking the country’s economy.
"A fairly complicated political infighting is taking place there. Who is trying to bet on what in order for them to stay in power - or to come to power - it’s sometimes hard to keep track of this from the outside. It’s hard to get a grasp on what’s going on. That's why I wouldn't make any assessments," he said in an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin, according to a fragment that the journalist posted to Telegram. "The current policy of the incumbent government is causing colossal damage to the future of the German economy.".
