MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. The St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) expects the dollar exchange rate to average 92.12 rubles during 2024, and 95.17 rubles at the end of the year, according to the consensus forecast of the trading platform for key macroeconomic indicators.

The exchange also forecasts that GDP growth in 2024 will be 1.33% and the inflation rate at the end of the year will reach 5.16%. The key rate by the end of 2024 is expected to be 11.31%, the average for the year - 14.1%.

The SPIMEX consensus forecast was developed using forecasts from top financial market analysis teams. SPIMEX aggregated forecast data into four blocks as part of its forecast service since January 2023: macroeconomics, currencies and rates, international goods, and companies. Since its inception, the service's partners include 15 analytical teams from Russian banks and brokers.
