Kazakhstan’s exports to Russia up by 10% yoy in January-November 2023 — statistics
The regulator noted that the Russian Federation occupies 91.6% in the total volume of foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the countries of the EAEU
ASTANA, January 16. /TASS/. Kazakhstan's exports to Russia in January-November 2023 increased by 10.2% year-on-year amounting to about $8.9 billion, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
In the reporting period, imports from Russia to the republic decreased by 10% year-on-year amounting to $14.7 billion, the agency noted.
"In the total volume of foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the countries of the EAEU, the Russian Federation occupies 91.6%, followed by Kyrgyzstan - 5%, Belarus - 3.3% and Armenia - 0.2%," the agency’s press service reported.
According to the agency, in January-November 2023, Kazakhstan’s trade turnover with the EAEU countries amounted to $25.7 billion, which is 3% less than the same period last year.
