Russian airlines carry 105 mln passengers in 2023, up by more than 10% in annual terms

MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. Russian airlines carried 105 mln passengers in 2023, according to the latest figures, Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev said.
"According to the latest figures, Russian airlines carried 105 mln passengers in 2023, which is 2 mln passengers higher than planned. Compared with 2022, the number of passengers carried grew by more than 10%. In 2022, 95.2 mln people were carried," he told reporters.
Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport Dmitry Yadrov said earlier this month that Russian airlines carried more than 103 mln passengers planned for last year.
