MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Plenty of foreign tourists continue visiting Russia and the country remains among global leaders of inbound tourism, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said at the Russia Expo forum.
"Despite the entire enormous number of sanctions from our ill-wishers, great many tourists continue coming to our country, and Russia is among leaders in international inbound tourism. This is also a very good sign, because we need to [not merely] know our country better but also to show it to our respected guests," Chernyshenko said.
The Russia Expo international exhibition and forum is being held from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. TASS is the general information agency of the Forum.
