MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Metalloinvest produced and delivered to the domestic market about 4.1 - 4.2 mln metric tons of hot briquetted iron (HBI), acting CEO of the Russian steelmaker Oleg Krestinin told TASS.

"In 2023, about 4.1-4.2 mln metric tons of top-grade HBI were produced and supplied to the internal market," the senior executive said.

The company is not going to reduce the HBI output this year, Krestinin noted. "We do not intend to go down. We stabilized production in recent months, volumes are close to 100% of capacity," he added.
