MOSCOW, January 10. /TASS/. Prices for tourist trips in Thailand, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sri Lanka, Egypt and Turkey in the second half of January 2024 have decreased by around 30% compared with the New Year period, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) reported.

"Tourist trips in Thailand, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Turkey in the second half of January have become more affordable by around 30% compared with the high New Year period. It should be noted that such a substantial decrease is only viable for certain departure dates when the demand fails to meet the expectations of tour operators," the report said.

Meanwhile, the scope of such offers is limited, the association noted.
