HONG KONG, December 26. /TASS/. Taiwan authorities made the decision to expand current restrictions of exports to Russian and Belarus from next January, the economic authority of the island said.
Forty-five kinds of goods will be covered by restrictions, according to the statement. The export ban will be effective from January 25, 2024.
In April 2022, Taiwan for the first time limited exports of 57 kinds of high-technology goods and dual-purpose technologies to Russia. Similar restrictions were imposed for export supplies to Belarus in May 2022. In January 2023, Taiwan expanded the current list by 52 positions more.
