BEIJING, December 15. /TASS/. China is ready to work with Russia in the energy sphere, particularly on improving the efficiency of supply chains, Deputy Prime Minister Ding Xuexiang said after the intergovernmental commission’s meeting.

"China is ready to work with Russia to implement in earnest the important consensus reached by the heads of the two states, build up a top-notch partnership in energy cooperation, and improve the resilience of the energy industry chain and supply chain," the official said.

Energy cooperation between Russia and China "is a model of pragmatic cooperation between Russia and China, based on equality and mutual benefit," Ding added.
