Gazprom increases significantly gas deliveries to China since mid-November

According to the the Russian gas holding, the increase is in line with the earlier signed supplemental agreement to the gas sale and purchase contract

MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. Gazprom has significantly increased the volume of gas supplies to China in line with earlier signed supplemental agreement, the Russian gas holding said.

A meeting of the joint coordination committee of Gazprom and CNPC headed by Deputy CEO of Gazprom Vitaly Markelov and Vice President of CNPC Huang Yongzhang took place today in Beijing.

"It was noted that Russian gas supplies over the Eastern route - the Power of Siberia gas pipeline - are going reliably. Companies are preparing for the planned increased of supplies in 2024. Furthermore, the volume of deliveries has been increased considerably since mid-November of this year in line with the earlier signed supplemental agreement to the gas sale and purchase contract," Gazprom said.

The parties also discussed a looking-forward projects of Russian gas supplies to China via the territory of Mongolia, the Russian gas holding added.
