The support of these brands will significantly diversify the domestic market, making it interesting and attractive to consumers, the head of state explained
MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. The presence of Russian brands on the domestic market increased by 31%, President Vladimir Putin said during his annual televised Direct Line question-and-answer session with Russian citizens.
"On our market, within the country, the presence of our brands has grown by more than 30, 31%, as far as I know. We should not stop this process and it must be systemic," he said.
"In this regard, without any doubt, it is necessary to involve not only federal structures, but also regional structures in this work. I now appeal to the heads of the regions, to my colleagues: we need to take control of this and contribute in every possible way to the promotion of regional brands," Putin said.
The support of these brands will significantly diversify the domestic market, making it interesting and attractive to consumers, the Russian President explained.
"We have something to be proud of in our regions," Putin said.
