MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. The US Treasury has added the Motorinvest company to its anti-Russian sanctions list, according to a statement on the financial department’s website.

Motorinvest produces electric cars under the Evolute brand at a plant in Russia’s Lipetsk region. Production of Evolute electric vehicles at the Motorinvest plant in this area began at the end of September 2022. The product line now includes the Evolute i-Pro, i-Joy and i-Sky models and will be replenished with the i-Van minivan, the i-Jet sports crossover and the i-Space hybrid.

In addition to direct production, Motorinvest also imports and sells cars from the Chinese brand Dongfeng, as well as hybrid and electric cars from the Chinese brand Voyah.
