The operating life of tanks stands at 50 years
MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. Transneft-Vostok, a subsidiary of the Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft, has constructed two new oil tanks of 50,000 cubic meters each for the East Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipeline, the company said.
"Transneft-Vostok built two new tanks at the pump station (PS) No. 21 in the Amur Region. Tanks with the capacity of 50,000 cubic meters each will be engaged in oil transportation over the first stage of the East Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO-1) trunk oil pipeline," the company said.
The operating life of tanks stands at 50 years. The project was implemented to increase operational reliability of the oil pipeline system, it added.
