The Russian government reported that the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture noted the country's fuel price stabilization and the absence of a fuel shortage following a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak on the situation in the domestic oil products market with the management of oil companies and departments.
"According to stock market dynamics, the planned decline in the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel in the small wholesale segment continues in most regions. Fuel prices do not exceed the year's forecast inflation," according to the report.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the government increased its output of winter diesel fuel in November.
The government highlighted that gasoline and diesel fuel stockpiles remain strong.
