MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. The next Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) International Economic Forum is scheduled for March 29, 2024, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee announced.

"The next meeting of the Economic Council is scheduled to take place on March 29, 2024. The spring CIS International Economic Forum is planned to be held on the same day," the press service said.

This year, the 15th CIS International Economic Forum was held on March 17 in Moscow. The key annual event is attended by the prime ministers of the CIS member states, as well as government ministers and representatives of the business communities of the respective countries. Its primary mission is to provide a platform for discussions of the prospects of and mechanisms for further strengthening economic cooperation among the CIS countries.
