MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Avtovaz is negotiating the export of its cars to Iran, as well as kits for their subsequent large-scale assembly, Head of the company Maxim Sokolov told reporters on the sidelines of the "Russia Calling!" forum.

"The delegation has not returned yet, so we receive the news constantly," Sokolov said.

"Iran will be one of the important directions both in terms of direct export of cars and export of vehicle kits for their subsequent assembly," he noted.

Sokolov added that car deliveries to Iran could begin in 2024.
