Russia’s inflation in 2023 forecast at 7.5% — ministry

Speaking about the growth of the country's economy as a whole based on the results of the year, Maxim Reshetnikov noted that the working estimate of Russia's GDP growth by the Ministry of Economic Development this year is 3.5%

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The Russian Ministry of Economic Development maintains its forecast for the inflation rate in the country at the end of 2023 at 7.5%, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov told reporters on the sidelines of the "Russia Calling!" forum.

"In terms of inflation, we are maintaining 7.5%. We are keeping this estimate," he said.

Earlier, during his speech at the forum, the minister emphasized that he did not consider the rise in inflation in the country in recent months critical.
