Russia’s international reserves rise by 2.82% to $592.352 bln in November
As of December 1, 2022, Russia’s international reserves amounted to $567.289 bln
MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The international reserves of Russia as of December 1, 2023, amounted to $592.352 bln, which is 2.82% (or $16.269 billion) higher than the figure at the beginning of November, the Bank of Russia said in a statement.
Foreign exchange reserves in November increased by 3.06% to $440.475 bln. The value of monetary gold in reserves increased over the month by 2.15% and amounted to $151.88 bln.
As of December 1, 2022, Russia’s international reserves amounted to $567.289 bln.
At the same time, over the week the volume of international reserves increased by $5.4 bln and as of the end of the day on December 1 amounted to $592.9 bln. As of November 24, the volume of reserves amounted to $587.5 bln.
Russia’s international reserves are highly liquid foreign assets available with the Bank of Russia and the Russian Government. They comprise foreign currency, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), a reserve position in the International Monetary Fund and monetary gold.
