MOSCOW, December 6. /TASS/. The share of domestically produced medical equipment in the Russian market can reach 29% by the end of 2023, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said.

"The share of domestic medical equipment is forecast to be 29% by the end of 2023. A strategic document is required to boost it and set the balance between the market demand and manufacturing of required high-technology products in particular," the ministry noted.

The medical industry development plan by 2030 will be prepared, Deputy Minister Vasily Shpak noted.
