"Both bilateral and multilateral format of cooperation [with India] is interesting for Russia. We are confident that the fast-developing markets of the EAEU and CIS are also attractive for the Indian partners," according to Overchuk’s greetings read out by Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Dmitry Volvach at the annual international Eurasian conference on intellectual property and technologies.
According to figures provided by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), trade turnover between EAEU member states and India doubled in 2022, the official said, adding that in the first half of this year trade turnover gained another 90% year-on-year.
