Russia’s oil and gas revenues up 10.9% in November — finance ministry

MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russia’s oil and gas revenues increased by 10.9% in November 2023 year-on-year to 961.7 bln rubles ($10.5 bln) compared with 866.4 bln rubles in November 2022, according to figures provided by the Finance Ministry.
That said, in January-November 2023 Russia’s oil and gas revenues fell by 23.3% to 8.172 trillion rubles ($89 bln) from 10.655 trillion rubles in the same period last year.
Oil and gas condensate production and export taxes (Mineral Extraction Tax, export tax and Excess-Profits Tax) brought 8.948 trillion rubles ($97.7 bln) to the budget in January-November, down by 14.9%, according to the ministry.
Meanwhile, Mineral Extraction Tax and export tax on gas decreased almost two-fold to 1.597 trillion rubles ($17.4 bln) in 11M 2023 from 2.982 trillion rubles in the same period in 2022.
