Russian budget revenues up 3% against forecast due to GDP growth — PM

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Russia’s GDP growth has pushed the country’s budget revenues up by 3% compared with the projected figures, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a cabinet meeting.

"According to the Economic Development Ministry’s preliminary estimate, GDP growth amounted to 3.2% in January-October, with the strongest dynamics of almost 7.5% registered in manufacturing. This all influenced federal budget revenues in the reporting period, in nine months, as they were over 3% higher than the projected figures," he said.

Overall, Russia’s economy is growing despite external challenges thanks to the president’s decisions, backing of various sectors and citizens, Mishustin added.
