Gas supply by Gazprom for Europe through Ukraine totals 39.7 mcm via Sudzha
The nomination for the Sokhranovka gas metering station has been rejected
MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Gazprom is supplying natural gas for Europe through Ukraine in the volume of 39.7 mln cubic meters (mcm) per day via the Sudzha gas metering station in Russia’s Kursk Region, a Gazprom spokesperson told reporters.
"Gazprom supplies Russian gas for transit through Ukrainian territory in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side via the Sudzha gas metering station of 39.7 mln cubic meters as of November 26. The nomination for the Sokhranovka gas metering station has been rejected," he said. On Saturday, November 25, the pumping rate also equaled 39.7 mln cubic meters.
The Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) acknowledged the nomination to pump approximately this volume earlier.
The transit line through Ukraine remains the only route to supply Russian gas to western and central European countries. The pumping through the Nord Stream gas pipeline has been fully suspended. Deliveries via the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines are intended for Turkey and countries of Southern and Southeastern Europe.
