Moscow’s share in Russian exports to Thailand growing to 54%

BANGKOK, November 24. /TASS/. The share of Moscow in total Russian exports to Thailand surged from 3% to 54% over the last two years, Deputy CEO of the Moscow Export Center Nadezhda Larionova told TASS.
"We brought a business delegation to Bangkok in order to find potential partners there. Fifteen companies represented by the IT direction and manufacturers of high-tech products came with us. We believe Thailand is one of promising markets to develop cooperation. While the share of Moscow in total Russian exports to Thailand stood at 3% in 2021, it surged to 54% last year," she said.
"The IT area is very promising to develop cooperation between Moscow exporters and Thailand," Larionova noted. "We held talks between our companies and Thai partners. The majority of [Russian] companies noted that they see the interest in their products in this market. Their representatives managed to find potential partners, with which they can establish cooperation," she added.
