MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Moscow airports are functioning normally, despite weather conditions, a spokesperson of the Federal Air Transport Agency told TASS.

"Airports of the capital’s region - Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky are operating normally. There are no delays in the flight schedule due to weather conditions, no diversion to alternate airfields. The airports are provided with required resources and equipment to service aircraft in adverse weather conditions," the spokesperson said.

The Moscow Department of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies sent earlier an urgent warning about forthcoming heavy snowfall, a snowstorm, icy roads, and wind velocity growing to 15 meters per second in the capital.
