Stress in global economy is due to actions of other large countries, not Russia — Putin
"Injections of trillions of dollars and euros into the economy, into the banking system, definitely provoked the outburst of global inflation, the skyrocketing growth of food and energy prices," the Russian head of state underlined
MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. The stress in the global economy is associated with actions of other major countries and not with Russia and its attempts to obtain justice in Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin said at the online summit of the Group of Twenty (G20).
"The great stress experienced by the global economy is the direct consequence of ill-considered macroeconomic policy of certain states," the President said.
"Injections of trillions of dollars and euros into the economy, into the banking system, definitely provoked the outburst of global inflation, the skyrocketing growth of food and energy prices. This is exactly what underlie developments I mentioned. Not our actions and our attempts to obtain justice in Ukraine. No. Exactly the actions of the largest global economies," Putin stressed.
