Port capacities on Russian oil export to be expanded by 32 mln tons by 2026 — Novak
It is noted that the capacity of oil pipelines in the direction of Primorsk and Novorossiysk will be expanded by 10 mln tons from the current 47 mln tons and by 15 mln tons from the current 37 mln tons, respectively
MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. Port capacities on Russian oil export will be expanded by 32 mln tons by 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
"The oil transfer capacity of the port of Kozmino has been brought to 42 mln tons for increasing supplies to the East. For further boosting oil supplies in the Far East by 2026 it is planned to expand the port infrastructure of Kozmino, as well as western ports (Primorsk, Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk) totally by 32 mln tons," he said addressing the Federation Council (upper house of the parliament).
According to Novak’s presentation, the capacity of oil pipelines in the direction of Primorsk and Novorossiysk will be expanded by 10 mln tons from the current 47 mln tons and by 15 mln tons from the current 37 mln tons, respectively. Moreover, export by railway transport from the station of Meget in the Irkutsk Region of 7 mln tons of oil will be ensured.
