MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Series production of e-Largus electric cars will start in Izhevsk in the second quarter of 2024, according to the presentation of Avtovaz President Maxim Sokolov in the Federation Council.

The pilot batch of electric vehicles is scheduled to be produced in mid-December 2023.

"The second quarter of 2024. The start of e-Largus electric vehicles production at the plant in Izhevsk," the presentation reads.

"We will restart production of the Largus with the internal combustion engine and serial production of the electric Largus" in the first half of the next year, Sokolov said. "We will produce the pilot batch, as promised, in Izhevsk by the end of this year, somewhat in the middle of December," the chief executive added.
