China ready to develop investment cooperation with Russia — Deputy Prime Minister
Ding Xuexiang said this is the first time when he acts as the co-chairman of the Sino-Russian intergovernmental commission
BEIJING, November 20. /TASS/. Beijing is ready together with Moscow to facilitate investment cooperation between the two countries, China’s Deputy Prime Minister Ding Xuexiang said at the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on investment cooperation.
"We are holding today the tenth meeting [of the intergovernmental commission]. I would like together with you to summarize activities in the sphere of investment cooperation between China and Russia over the last year and discuss key tasks at the next stage, to promote continuous achievement of new results in investment cooperation between our countries," Ding said at the meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrey Belousov.
The Chinese official said this is the first time when he acts as the co-chairman of the Sino-Russian intergovernmental commission. "I would like to establish a close working contact with you and hold a deepened exchange of opinions on further development of investment cooperation between China and Russia," Ding added.
The Sino-Russian intergovernmental commission was established in 2014. Its main goal is to facilitate implementation of investment projects in the non-energy sphere and lower administrative and trade barriers between the two countries.
