Share of Russian companies using AI technologies rises 1.5-fold since 2021
It increased from 15 to 25%
MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. The results of a survey of 5,000 Russian companies representing medium and large businesses showed that over two years the share of those who implemented artificial intelligence (AI) technologies among them increased 1.5-fold - from 15 to 25%, Director of the National Center for Artificial Intelligence Development (NCADI) under the Russian government Sergey Nakvasin said in an interview with TASS.
The survey of companies representing 18 key sectors of the economy was conducted in 2023.
"It was important to clarify the increased implementation of AI in comparison with 2021. The share of medium and large Russian companies developing these technologies has increased by one and a half times in two years - from 15 to 25%," he said.
The results of the study will be published at the end of November, Nakvasin said.
"This survey is the largest in the world in terms of the number of participating companies in terms of the application of AI by companies. We surveyed representatives from nearly 5,000 companies, which is 2-3 times more than prominent multinational agencies (PwC, IBM) typically survey in global trends research," Nakvasin said.
