Rosatom announced plans to expand supplies of isotope products to Brazil

BUENOS AIRES, November 17. /TASS/. Rosatom state corporation plans to expand the supply of isotope products to Brazil, Head of the company’s regional center in Latin America Ivan Dybov said.

"At the moment, we are Brazil's largest supplier of isotope products. We intend to develop cooperation, including partnerships with local enterprises, in order to enhance the supply of isotope goods from Russia and the production of radiopharmaceuticals in Brazil," he told reporters.

He also noted that the demand for radiopharmaceuticals in Brazil is very large and not fully satisfied, adding "the country has plans to address this issue and we would like to participate to supply more products."

Dybov noted that Rosatom is now also supplying isotope products to Uruguay. In addition, the corporation has experience in cooperation in this area with Argentina.
