ASTANA, November 15. /TASS/. Oil production in Kazakhstan in January-October 2023 amounted to 74.8 mln tons, Minister of Energy Almasadam Satkaliyev said at a meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

"Over the specified period, oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 74.8 mln tons, production of oil products - 11.2 mln tons, gas production - 48.7 bln cubic meters, electricity production - 93.5 bln kWh, uranium production - 15,350 tons," the presidential press service said.

The minister reported on the measures being taken to develop the national electrical grid, the new mechanism for selling electricity, introduced in June 2023.

The volume of oil production in Kazakhstan at the end of 2022 amounted to 84.2 mln tons.
