MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Rostelecom will make the security payment under the windfall tax totaling about 700 mln rubles ($7.75 bln) by the end of November 2023, First Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Russian telecom corporation Sergey Anokhin told TASS.

"The amount [of payment] will be about 700 mln rubles if paid this year, and we will do this by the end of November," Anokhin said.

On August 4, 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law setting forth a ten percent windfall tax for major companies.
