MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. Passenger traffic by Aeroflot Group reached 4.2 mln people in October, which is 19.7% up year-on-year, passenger traffic on international routes doubled in October and reached 957,700 people, the company reported.

"Aeroflot Group carried 4.2 million passengers, 19.7% up vs. October 2022 thanks to the Group’s route network continued development," the airline said in a statement.

In domestic segment Aeroflot Group carried 3.2 million passengers in October, which is 6.7% up year-on-year and 14.2% up in comparison with the same period of 2019.

From January to October 2023, the group’s passenger traffic increased by 15.1% year-on-year to 40 million passengers. The group's parent airline, Aeroflot, carried almost 21 million passengers (+19.7%) during this period. In October, Aeroflot airline carried 2.2 million passengers (+24.5%).
