Russia’s balance of foreign trade falls to $103.6 bln in January-September

Russian exports during this period decreased to $316.9 bln from $448.9 bln, while imports increased to $213.3 bln from $180.3 bln

MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. The positive balance of foreign trade of Russia decreased to $103.6 bln in January - September from $268.6 bln in the same period in 2022, the Federal Customs Service said.

Russian exports during this period decreased to $316.9 bln from $448.9 bln, while imports increased to $213.3 bln from $180.3 bln. Exports to European countries decreased to $65.3 bln from $216.7 bln, and exports to Asian countries increased to $226.6 bln from $205.4 bln.

Imports from Europe fell to $59.2 bln from $64.8 bln, while imports from Asia rose to $139.7 bln from $100.2 bln.

At the same time, in terms of trade with African countries exports increased to $15.6 bln from $10.1 bln, imports - to $2.5 bln from $2.3 bln. Russian exports to the countries of North and South America decreased to $9.3 bln from $16.1 bln, imports - to $11.4 bln from $12.4 bln.
