MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. The price for Russian oil and petroleum products, excluding gasoline and vacuum gasoil (VGO), exceeded the price cap set by G7 countries in October, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in its November report.
"Russian crude and product prices, apart from gasoline and VGO, were above the G7 Price Cap," the report said.
In early December 2022, G7 and EU countries together with an embargo introduced a price cap for Russian oil delivered by sea, setting the ceiling at $60 a barrel for vessels and territories they control. Similar restrictions on deliveries of petroleum products from Russia came into force in February 2023, with the price ceiling set at $100 and $45 depending on the category.
