Russian government discussing cancellation of gasoline export ban

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier the government was considering an option of cancelling the fuel export ban
MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. The Russian government is currently discussing the opportunity of lifting a partial ban on exports of Ai-95 and Ai-92 gasoline grades, and for gasoline with a lower octane number, Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov told reporters.
"We are discussing," the minister said.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier the government was considering an option of cancelling the fuel export ban. No decisions were made thus far.
The Russian government introduced the temporary restriction of gasoline and diesel fuel exports since September 21 to stabilize the domestic market.
